How to analyze a pair of socks
Face yarn (cotton) + bottom yarn (spandex coated silk or nylon) + Luokou (elastic coated wire)
(1) Types of surface yarns include (cotton yarn, polyester yarn, cotton yarn, acrylic yarn, wool and cotton or acrylic blended yarn size, chemical fiber yarn, etc.). The surface yarns are included in the thickness specifications (10, 20, 21, 32, 40, 60). The cotton yarn is divided into (combed cotton, combed cotton) ordinary thick cotton socks generally used carded cotton; male gentleman socks are generally combed cotton.
(2) The type of bottom yarn includes (nylon polyester, nylon). The nylon polyester may include (2075, 3075, 4075, 2070, 3070, 4070) in terms of thickness and elasticity. Nylon may include (40D/2, 70D/2, 100D/2) and the like according to the thickness of the thickness.
(3) The rubber band includes (nylon coated wire, polyester coated wire) rubber wire wrapped with nylon filament or polyester filament. The elastic ribs may include (90#, 100#, 140#, 180#) and the like according to the thickness of the elastic. There is also a spandex, called double-coated spandex. This spandex thread is very thin, very elastic, and can also be used as an elastic band. This type of spandex is several times more expensive than ordinary spandex and rubber.
Therefore, a pair of cotton socks = cotton + spandex, the ratio of the yarn to the yarn in the socks weaved is: 75% to 25%. For example, the socks trademark is marked with: 72% cotton, 20% spandex, 5% nylon, 3% rubber, so the socks yarn is pure cotton yarn, we call it pure cotton socks.
