What is sock machine?------ A knitting machine that produces socks.


In 1589, the British W. Lee invented the first knitting machine, using hook-knitted forming socks. In 1849, a single-needle round sock machine appeared as a result of the application of the tongue to a small-diameter circular machine. The function of the opening and folding mechanism is to start the mouth when the socks start to weave without coils, and fold the mouth when the socks are woven to a certain length, and fold the single layer of socks into double layers to make the socks have a good Elastic, no curling, usually done with a sock hook. The main function of the transfer mechanism is to move the coil from one needle to the other with a transfer mechanism to change the knitting width of the hosiery and shape it.
